ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The second year of the Innovative Legal Services Forum focuses on three main areas: Worldwide Inspiration, Clever Use of Technology and the Law Firm Business in CEE. The conference will be one of the top events in the CEE region.

Janet Stanton is an accomplished business executive who brings her experience from diverse industries and professional service organiza-tions to bear on the business and strategic issues facing law firms in the 21st Century. Recently, Janet was Director, Client Relationship Program at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe.

Aron makes huge impact in the legal industry, having built LawMade (purveyors of LegalLean) and LegalX at MaRS Discovery District, both with Jason Moyse. Aron won the prestigious Fastcase 50 in 2015, which highlights people who have charted a new course for the delivery of legal services.

ORSOLYA GÖRGÉNYI
[HU]

Partner at Szecskay Attorneys at Law and Immediate Past President at AIJA, the only global association of young lawyers aged below 45. She is a regular speaker at various legal conferences on subjects including the future of the legal profession and services. She led the AIJA team in charge of the joint CCBE/AIJA survey project on the future of the legal profession.

ILSF 2016

Economia media house organizes an annual legal conference - one of a kind in CEE. The inaugural year of the Innovative Legal Services Forum took place in May 2016 in Prague. It was a hugely successful event with more than 180 participants from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The event was held under the auspices of Czech, Slovak, Hungarian and Polish bar associations and AIJA. 

The keynote speakers were Jaap Bosman, author of the book Death of a Law Firm, Christoph H. Vaagt, author of the book General Counsel in 21st century, Georgia Brooks, former European editor at Chambers & Partners and, last but not least, Nicole Bäck-Knapp, Partner at Ecker & Partner.
