Andrew is a Canadian entrepreneur and lawyer. He is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of ROSS Intelligence, an artificial intelligence company, leader, leader in the legal technology industry. A member of the Forbes 30 under 30 class of 2017, as well as a 2016 TED speaker, Arruda aims to forever change the way legal services are delivered.
Catherine is the CEO and Founder of BamLegal, a team of Legal Engineers specialising in legal document automation, workflow and integration of legal technology. BamLegal work with the world’s largest law firms and in-house legal teams to help them improve their service delivery using legal technology.
Friedrich is a 20+ year legal business veteran who helps, mentors, advises and invests in law firms, alternative legal service providers and legal tech start-ups. He is also working on The Un-Firm of the Future. Friedrich has expertise in improving competitiveness and financial performance of legal service providers in 17 countries on 4 continents.
Geoff heads one of the largest teams of local authority lawyers in the UK, Invicta Law, with 125 lawyers serving over 600 public sector clients nationwide. He was named the Legal Industry Pioneer at the FT Innovative Lawyer Awards in both 2012 and 2013; and the Most Innovative European In-House Lawyer in the FT Innovative Lawyers Awards 2014.
Aron has made a huge impact in the legal industry, having built LegalX at MaRS Discovery District, then co-founded Law Made in Toronto. Aron, who now runs Aron Brand Ventures and is building the European Legal Innovation Space in Berlin, was part of the Fastcase 50 2015 cohort. Aron lives in Berlin with his wife and Standard Poodle.
Orsolya is the Partner at Szecskay Attorneys at Law & ELTA Ambassador & Past President at AIJA, the only global association of young lawyers. She is a regular speaker at various legal conferences on subjects including the future of the legal profession & services. She led the AIJA team in charge of the joint CCBE/AIJA survey project on the future of the legal profession.
As Director of Innovation at DLA Piper, Adam champions and drives innovation and change throughout the International firm, helping to initiate genuine innovation and continuous improvement, and enhance the firm's ability to take ideas and develop them into tangible outcomes that add value and create profit.
Thomas is a Partner for Deloitte Tax & Legal and the Managing Partner for Deloitte Legal Germany. He advises public and private sector clients on funding strategies and optimization of grants & incentives, strategy and organizational development, transactions, financing structures and tax law. Thomas also serves as a member of the board of the Deloitte Foundation.
Jürg joined KPMG in 2011 and is the head of the Legal department. In October 2016, he was appointed as the Global Head of Legal Services for KPMG. Prior to joining KPMG, Jürg headed the Wealth & Tax Planning department of a major Swiss private bank, where he was involved in a number of complex international tax planning schemes.
Erwin is Managing Partner of the law firm Taylor Wessing in the Czech Republic. He is CEE Head of Real Estate & Construction, advises national and international clients and is Vice-President of the Real Estate Commission of the Union Internationale des Advocats. Erwin is member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
Jan is a Managing Partner at Ambruz & Dark Deloitte Legal. He has extensive experience in advising on management liability matters & corporate governance issues. Jan is leading the Czech Corporate Governance Center and is also in the function by. He is also Chairman of the Board of Transparency International, Czech Republic.
Ondrej loved being a lawyer, what he hated was editing legal templates for every case. So he quit and started Legito. Legito is lawyer-friendly software for creating responsive documents that know how you think and edit themselves. Ondrej believes lawyers are too valuable to squander time on mundane and repetitive tasks.

The second year of the Innovative Legal Services Forum
focused on three main areas: Worldwide Inspiration, Clever Use of
Technology and the Law Firm Business in CEE. The conference was one of
the top events in the CEE region. Attendees discussed topics such as Big
Data, Outsourcing, Law Firm Business Model & Compensation. The
keynote speakers were Janet Stanton and Bruce MacEwen from Adam Smith,
Esq., Jenna Solpana from AdultCams, Dana Denis-Smith from Obelisk Support and Canadian entrepreneur
Aron Solomon.
#ILSF 2016
The inaugural year of the Innovative Legal Services Forum took place in May 2016 in Prague. It was a hugely successful event with more than 180 participants from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The event was held under the auspices of Czech, Slovak, Hungarian and Polish bar associations and AIJA. The keynote speakers were Jaap Bosman, author of the book Death of a Law Firm, Christoph H. Vaagt, author of the book General Counsel in 21st century, Georgia Brooks, former European editor at Chambers & Partners and, last but not least, Nicole Bäck-Knapp, Partner at Ecker & Partner.
